There has been alot of problems at Sun Valley for alot of years. The rest room is why we stop going. When you see the pipe to the rest room over flowing on the grown year after year. It is time to stop going. The price is to high to still have this problem.

Sun Valley Beach SUCKS!!

This place sucked!!!! I took my daughter and some friends to Sun Valley Beach for her 9th birthday and we were treated badly. All the people of color had to stay to one side of the pool, while all the white people were on the other side--so the pool was segregated. The restrooms were "out of order" so everyone i assumed used to pool--and the smell of the pool is proof of this. The woman lifeguard was rude to all the kids and nasty to their parents. She said that all the kids under the age of 7 had to hold their parents hands while in the pool--WHAT??? How is this possible---this woman made it impossible to have a good time. 30 minutes later the same lady changed to rule by saying kids under the 12 must have an adult in the pool with them--my kids are excellent swimmer but were not able to go pass the kiddy pool--they could not even go into the 3 feet....The water slides did not have water coming down them, so you could not successfully slide down without scarring up your legs. The pool was nasty, dirty and smelled like spoiled fish. They called the police on so many kids to put them out of the pool--for no reason(this is not fair after people pay good money to get in) They are so rude and nasty to everyone but you just have to take it because they will not issue you a refund when you try to leave. This place is over priced and not worth the money you pay. I will not recommend this place to anyone because you will not enjoy it. The customer service sucked!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!

Pros: none

Cons: terrible customer service

dump

The place is a dump, not to mention un-safe. I believe they have a few lawsuits already. Management is very rude, and the place is way overpriced. The manager called my mother after 10PM to fuss her out about a refund that was requested only moments after the credit card was charged. Due to the fact that although the pavilion was rented for a birthday party and all tickets purchased for the children, but the parents (swimming or not) had to pay $18 just to go to the party. They offer no refunds, and stole over $100 of our money. I would suggest the county pool's at only a few dollars a head.
