The APEX Museum changed my posture!!!

The exhibits at the APEX Museum have changed my posture!! I am more proud than ever to be an African with the understanding I have gained from the education I've received from this one of a kind museum. The APEX is conveniently located in the Sweet Auburn district and the entry fee is more than fair considering what they offer. The museum's curator, Michele Mitchell, is Atlanta's best (maybe the Nation's) at researching and teaching the facts on African history from it's prestigious and bright beginning, and how African people have an incomparable endurance and perseverance. I commend Mr. Dan Moore, Sr., the museum's founder, for his vision, his strength and determination for bringing us this Panoramic Experience. No resident of Georgia or visitor to Atlanta should exclude making a visit to the APEX a priority. No disputing that this is a Five Star historical treasure.

This is an excellent place to visit to remind you of why you should be glad that their were people who loved you and never met you. The struggles and pain are explained well here and not to the point that you need an interpreter to understand. Take some one who hasn't been. This is not just a place for Afro Americans.

I greatly enjoyed the experience I had at the Apex museum. Never before had I seen so much history regarding the African American experience. I spent hours looking over the photos and stories of so many. The videos helped to capture even more of what it was like for them to experience being black in America throughout history. Besides the wonderful, eye opening enlightenment you will receive the price can't be beat either.
